Newspapers are mainly of two kinds, national and local newspapers. National newspapers look at the whole nation at one go, while the local newspapers are only limited to the news of the particular area they are into.

Local newspapers can be state newspapers concentrating only on the state affairs, city newspapers mentioning only about the city they are from, or area-wise newspapers that only print information about a particular area of the city. These newspapers are low budget newspapers with less number of reporters and editing staff, since their area is limited.
