Google, which is the pioneer in search engines,
came up with its news section in April 2002, as a beta release.
However, the final version of the service appeared in 2006. This
service offers news in 12 Languages: English, German, French,
Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese (traditional and simplified
characters), Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Arabic and Hebrew. This
service is fully computerized, with no human editors working; so as
to escape any charge of biasing. Google news provides searching, and
the choice of sorting the results by date and time of publishing
(not to be confused with date and time of the news' happening). The
google news service also has an archive, which keeps retains all the
news items that have been posted on the site.
